UPDATE: This item has been updated from the version shown in some of the pictures and the video. It now features two of each socket, and can fit up to two of each type of compatible stand.

The UniBase is a low profile space saving base replacement that is compatible with the majority of Tamashii, Nendoroid, Figma, Revoltech, Mafex, and Obitsu stand arms.

You can see a video feature on the Unibase here.

The purpose of this item is to save space in your display area by replacing the larger standard bases produced by companies like Bandai, GSC, Mafex, etc for use with their stands.

As demonstrated in the video link posted above, the UniBase is quite stable when posed with standing figures, and still retains a good amount of stability when supporting figures with aerial poses.

Included with this item is:
(5) UniBase bases

No stand arms, other bases, or figures are included with this item.  Any shown are for demonstration purposes only.

Some things to know about the UniBase:

Some of the stand arms that the UniBase is compatible with have longer base pegs than the UniBase is thick.  The sockets on the UniBase feature a slightly tapered design, so their grip will get stronger the deeper a stand arm's peg is inserted into it.  Because of this, you will find that the Unibase will provide a firm grip before you would have to push some of the stand arms all the way in to the UniBase.  The only exception to this is the Obitsu stand arms.  To accomodate those, the Unibase set will come with spacer rings that fit over an obitsu stand arms base peg and fill most of the excess space on the peg and allow it to function well with the Unibase.  For more details on this, and a demonstration, see the video link above.

It should also be noted that compatibility across the stand arms from the lines that the UniBase supports will not be completely universal.  It will function with the majority of stand arms from those lines, but for some of them there exists some releases that deviate from the common dimensions you find with those stand arms.

For example, the Sailor Moon SH Figuarts figures came bundled with Tamashii stage stands, but the ones they came bundled with have wider base pegs and will not fit in the UniBase or a basic stage act 4. Base.

The Saint Clothe Myth EX stage set comes with stand arms that have longer and slightly larger base peg than is standard.

There are also some figma releases, like Metroid Prime 3 Samus, who have smaller than standard figma stand dimensions.

The variant stand arms may not fit with the UniBase, and if forced they may cause damage to the UniBase or the stand arm.  Methods to identify variant stand arms are discussed in the video linked above.

The UniBase, having slightly tapered peg sockets, may not fit stand arms through both sides.  There is a TOP and BOTTOM side to the UniBase that you can identify based on the differently shaped sockets on the Unibase.  The side shown facing in the photos on this page is the top side that stand arms should be inserted into.
The Tamashii compatible hexagon should be on top, with the small round socket to the right, and the larger round socket to the left.

This item includes small parts that may pose a choking hazard.  They are intended for adult collectors only, and should be kept out of the hands of children.
